Anne, an expert in state Medicaid policy and pharmacy benefit management, discussed how states are tackling the high cost of these treatments and finding ways to fund these new gene therapies which can offer life-changing treatment for patients with some cancers and other rare disorders. She discussed a recent state Medicaid pharmacy director which revealed utilization and costs for these drugs of most concern. In addition, she highlighted some of the strategies specific states are implementing in order to fund these therapies and treatments.
